FRIDAY'S POST (8/9)

An evening of thunder!

It's Friday!.. Today started out with sunshine and is now ending with rain, thunder, and lightning!

Its been awhile since we had such an intense storm here in the Gorge... Where the flashes of light make an almost instant day out of the night... Brings me back to childhood, really, when these type of summer storms seemed much more prevalent, and in which gave youthful eyes excitement to end an evening...

If there's one lasting effect to come out of this evening's storm, its the adjoining rainfall that we've needed for so long now... In fact, It's quite hard to remember when our last rainfall actually was... Oh yeah, and we're the Northwest!

Well everyone, time to officially end the week.
