MONDAY'S POST (5/6)
A change in the market?..
I remember thinking toward the end of last year, and even into the beginning of this one, how it seemed the Real Estate market might be showing signs of stabilizing. And with the late start to this year's Selling season, mostly due to weather, it was certainly difficult to predict what would happen. Now of course, we are in it and I'm a bit surprised how strong the market actually is... Many are seeking, making offers, and purchasing... Interest rates are still low... Nothing seems to jump out!.. Now it is true, prices are not increasing at quite the pace they did in recent years, but they are definitely still climbing.
I shouldn't have to mention the amount of opportunities out there right now, as I'm sure many of you can see online. This actually brings me to another subject... If you truly want to get the most accurate and up to date information regarding listings and valuations, you really should speak with a Real Estate professional. I don't know if many of you realize how a lot of the online "Listing" sites are basically made up of large databases, collecting various information around the web, so depending on who the particular site collects information from, and how often, the information provided may not be accurate. I actually experience this first hand, when I receive inquiries into properties that are either already sold, or are not even available. Again, its always best to speak with a professional who can give you the most accurate and up to date information available, including honest opinions on what a property may actually be worth... Nothing else compares!
...Gorge temperatures are now in the 80's. It's not just Real Estate heating up!
I'll see you tomorrow. - Sean
