TUESDAY'S POST (11/26)
Updated: Nov 28, 2019
Snow for the hills!
The forecast soon calls for snow in our area... In fact, as I write this post I can already see some covering the foot hills, across the river... Certainly wasn't there before!
I suspect we may have a shot at receiving a dusting down here in Hood River, but it's a long shot! I think most will fall just above our City's elevation... No matter, it's still good to see snow around as we head into the Holiday Season!
...So I'm constantly watching what the trends in Real Estate say, not only locally, but also with regard to our entire nation. There is no doubt we typically experience slow downs during this time of year, so I'm not a bit worried with this. And honestly, I have yet to see any real sign signaling a true correction ahead. Yes, prices are leveling out, but this is good and should be expected, especially after having such a climb for the last several years. It's also true that an election year can influence things a bit, but still there is no reason, especially with our continued low interest rates, that we won't see a surge in Real Estate come Spring, once again!
If Sellers continue the path of staying realistic in their asking prices, we should be just fine!
Lately, I've been thinking... "Greed shut things down. Being realistic helps things continue."
Everyone, enjoy your Tuesday! - Sean
