Dealing with Gray-Skies Syndrome...
Has the recent Winter storms and gray skies affected you?... What some will call "Grey-Skies Syndrome" can be very real for many, and can have great effect on one's day!... A remedy I see mentioned quite often is to have plenty of interior lighting to help brighten up the environment around you. I've also heard that by listening to great music, and by laughing honestly, one's mood can certainly improve as well!... That sounds fairly simple to do!... Hey, with this in mind, why not just review my "Funk Out" training, from Tuesday's 02/19 post?... You should at least be able to chuckle, even if it's only for my "lack of shame" in creating it!... A classic, really!... There's also another possibility to try... Simple exercise!... and No. I'm not suggesting hopping in your car to go to the local gym, or even suiting up for a work out marathon!... I'm simply saying, do you remember the basic pushup?... the basic situp?... Simple exercises not requiring machines and or weights?... Doesn't matter whether its a set of 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, or even 30 reps, after a couple sets of these simple, yet effective exercises you should really start to feel pumped up!... In fact you could do this right now, regardless if your at work, or not... and Regardless of whether your in sweats, in uniform, or even in a business suit!... Think about it!... Give it a try!... Short reps, that's all it takes!
Alright, I truly hope everyone is surviving through our recent weather, staying positive as best you can. And if not, I hope the few ideas above might just help!
