WEDNESDAY'S POST (3/6)
Updated: Mar 8, 2019
Different this time around!...
I woke up this morning to take a short stroll outside... Utter silence was present, except for one familiar sound that I felt positive was from my childhood. As I kept placing one foot in front of the other, the sound was much like the memory of whistling sand beneath my feet, yet this time I was not without any shoes... In fact, I was wearing boots, the kind meant to handle the many white flakes scattered about. The temperature was down, and it was quite dry outside. Even the slightest breeze could have created a cloud... How remarkable, really... How very different it seemed... Yes, we were experiencing snow again!... But this time I did not mind... It was both playful, and it was easy to manage, and the effect of its lightness felt so enriching to me... I actually liked it!... I remember thinking to myself, "Would this stay for awhile?"... Not likely... Would it ever be like this again?"... Not likely, at least not for another year!...
