The home price calm continues!
As today's title states, home prices are continuing to remain calm for now, and Seller price hikes are no longer part of our Real Estate market. Selling prices appear to be holding, but only for properties priced right from the beginning... Unfortunately, this means for properties that are overpriced, even if later followed by price reductions, they are simply starting to be ignored. More and more Buyers are beginning to call a 'Seller's bluff'.
...I will say this respectfully, but also strongly, for any Seller out there... "Its in your best interest, especially during this time in the market, that you price your home or property correctly from the very beginning... Over shooting for hope will not work... You will only waste time and frustration for yourself!" A Real Estate professional will be able to give you a honest and current valuation of your home or property. If you are truly serious about getting your home or property sold, taking your Realtor's advise is the way to go. I do realize many of us have friends and family who only want to help by giving their own opinion regarding property values, but unless they are a Real Estate professional themselves, only your Realtor (representative); one who works and interacts daily with Buyers, and remains constantly up to date with current market trends, can actually help in giving you a correct and true valuation... The ability to sell!
